“Fire, Forging, Fun!”: Blacksmithing for Kids with Robert Schulz
This class happens twice a year and gives children the chance to work with the open fire and create with the hammer in hand. Students will be introduced (or re-introduced for those who are returning) to the forge, anvil, tongs, vises, and other hand tools used in the blacksmithing trade. Along with the physical lessons of forging, patience, awareness, concentration, and safety will be important focus of this class.
