Blacksmithing: Functional Tool Making with Brad Nichols
This workshop will introduce beginners to basic blacksmithing techniques through the creation of a pair of scrolling pliers. Techniques learned in the course will include forging, bending, riveting, and basic shop practice. Students will create this functional tool and be taught how to use it. The skills learned in forging the pliers are similar to those needed for making tongs.
