Chicken Butchering with Jane Siemon

Learn how to butcher a chicken from start to finish. Students will have an opportunity to kill, scald, pluck, and gut a chicken in a respectful way. Each student will take a chicken home with them. Hand plucking will be taught, but a spinning mechanical chicken plucker will also be used.
