Blacksmithing: Forging a Double Hook with Ball Ends with Robert Schulz
Learn core techniques of hand forging including fullering, upsetting, drawing out, and punching holes. This class will offer both beginning and intermediate smiths a challenge in hammer control, how to use the vise as an anvil, and be exposed to a variety of tools used in the process of creating this very classic hook. The skills learned in this class will give students a good understanding of how the metal can be worked.
