Introduction to Blacksmithing with Nick Smolen
This course is for those individuals with little or no blacksmithing experience. It will cover topics such as safety, basic metallurgy, and how to build and maintain a fire. The student will also learn basic techniques: drawing, tapering, bending, twisting, and making scrolls. Students will be required to provide their own earplugs, safety glasses, and gloves. Please wear proper attire made of natural materials. Synthetic material is a burn hazard.
