Life Off the Grid with Dale Kittleson
What is it like to live off the grid? Is it really possible to generate all of your electricity from renewable resources? Come hear the story of how three families built an off grid rural neighborhood in northeast Iowa and have happily generated most of their power from the sun and wind for nearly 10 years. Find out what has worked, what hasn’t, and what it took to get here. I will have a solar panel, a variety of meters and a small inverter to display, plus very interesting worksheets to hand out. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion during this half-day class.
