Rug Braiding with Lisa Carey
Rug braiding is becoming a lost art. Reconnect with a long lost tradition and learn a fun way to recycle unused clothing, blankets or old fabric by making a beautiful heirloom for your home. Each participant will learn the history of rug braiding, how to prepare your fabric for braiding and how to make a rug from start to finish. The finished project will be a mini trivet “rug.”
