Straw/Clay Walls for Any Building with Robert Schulz
Straw/clay infill is a great option to insulate a home, barn, shop, or any small outbuilding, and allows us to use inexpensive, local materials to create a beautiful, healthy wall. Learn how to choose the right materials, practice the mixing and stuffing of the infill, and the different ways of how to prep the walls (with forms, laths, or chicken wire). Options of using plaster or wood for interior/exterior siding will be discussed and observed. This is a great class for intergenerational learning. Families, grandparents, parents and children are all welcome for an informative, fun day.
