Fermented beverages are a part of every traditional diet, both for health benefits and as a way to preserve food. In this class, we will learn how to make (non-alcoholic) fermented beverages like kombucha, kvass, kefir, shrub, jun, and lacto-fermented ginger ale. Health benefits of ferments and how to incorporate them into your diet will also be discussed. This class is great for all skill levels who want to learn more about fermenting their own beverages at home!
