Planting a vineyard in the Upper Midwest can seem like holding out the sweet feed for the four horses of the apocalypse! Come and share instructor Ann’s journey into the trials and joys of grape growing in the Upper Midwest without chemicals. See what has worked (some) and not worked (a lot). In this class, discussion will include trellising, pruning, canopy management, fungal, weed and pest control. The hallmarks of the growing season will also be covered. This class is appropriate for the small hobby vineyard.
