The leaves have turned from the green of summer to brilliant reds, yellows, and oranges of autumn’s paint brush on the Driftless region’s hillsides. The fruits of your summer labors have ripened on the vines and branches to become the center of delicious home-made pies. Fall is the time of year that we stand back to admire what our hard work has grown. The Driftless Folk School shares this sentiment with our farming neighbors. Every year at this time, we gather together those that have helped the Driftless Folk School succeed and grow to share what the last year has brought to us. Our Annual Fall Festival is our way of thanking our donors, instructors, volunteers, and former students for the year’s success and growth. We invite you to join us on Sunday, October 15th to see how we’ve grown over the year, and where we are headed in the years to come.
