Family Directed Funeral Workshop

Preparing our deceased loved ones for final disposition was traditionally a sacred task performed by members of one's family and community. Join two founders of Threshold Care Circle, Charlene Elderkin and Liz Franklin, as they lead a practical, hands-on class about this safe, legal, and rewarding way to honor our dead and the cycles of life.

We'll begin on Friday evening with a screening of In the Parlor, a movie documenting three different home death / vigil / funeral experiences. On Saturday, we'll cover legal forms, care of the body, and setting up a home vigil.
