Nature Observation and Tracking In Fall

Instructor: Nicholas WazeeGale

This will be an experiential day of learning on the Driftless landscape and looking into the lives of the plants and animals that inhabit it. We will traverse and explore various habitats and learn to observe track and sign of resident wildlife, interpret behaviors of those animals, identify trees and plants in this season, and connect and integrate more fully into this realm. This will be an off-trail and active day, participants will need to be able to hike hills, cross ravines, etc. Come learn to see and sense more, and disturb and disrupt less, in the diverse and ever-changing wild landscapes of the Driftless.
