In coordination with Threshold Care Circle's Family Directed Funeral workshop, DFS is offering a companion class in sewing a shroud. If your end-of-life goals include natural burial practices, a simple shroud is an appropriate and easy "final garment" in which to return yourself to the earth.

Made of plain muslin with simple ties and sewn-in webbing handles, this shroud could be painted, embroidered, or otherwise decorated.

Basic sewing skills are required for this class.
Please note the early enrollment deadline in order for the instructor to procure materials.
