Much Ado about Nettle!

Instructor: Tracy Mangold

More than just a nutritive spring tonic, Nettle's keen capacities range from helping with seasonal allergies to cleaning the blood, urinary tract health, inflammation modulation and much more! Let's spend a morning with this plant and learn when to use nettle as food and medicine. We will learn about the taste of Nettle and how it relates to its constituents' effects upon the body. We will also discuss what type of body constitution or ailment benefits best from Nettle's medicine. We will come to know our friend Nettle deeply! Of course plenty of time will be allowed for making food and medicine with this generous plant ally. This class will provide a template to take along as you continue your studies of other medicinal plants.
